Our advisory board guides the strategic growth and development of ONERUN and our programs and helps us to build a better ONERUN for the future.
Lore Wainwright (Chair)
Lore Wainwright has been leading individuals for the past 30 years in health and wellness and meaningful social business creation. With extensive experience in communications, business development and yoga, Lore cares deeply about creating a world where learning, observing and providing exceptional experiences, regardless of what lens clients present. As past Project Manager for ONERUN, Lore was a significant contributor to the success of this grassroots initiative. She is a champion of impact, connecting others and has the gift of masterful teaching through lived experience and storytelling.
Lore obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the University of Western Ontario.
Brian Denneny works as an Operational Planner for the OLG where he coordinates critical operations within the OLG for strategic placements. Prior to joining the OLG Brian worked as a Senior Manager, Brand and Customer Experience Marketing with Telus where he manages four different marketing budgets including direct response marketing, experiential, advertising production and multicultural marketing. Prior to this, Brian worked as the Marketing Communications Manager and the Business Systems Analyst II within Telus.
Brian received an MBA, Business Administration from Odette School of Business and a BBA, Finance and Marketing from Brock University.
Melissa Maloney works as a Senior Divisional Manager of Operations at GoodLife Fitness and leads the leadership team in the London area to ensure all growth and success of the locations and their members. Prior to this Melissa has worked multiple roles within the organization, driving sales and service results. She has played a key role in multiple projects and initiatives within the organization where she has used her expertise in strategic planning and executing plans across multiple departments to help ensure the vision of GoodLife is achieved Nationwide. Additionally, Melissa also owns Happy Leader Enterprises where she facilitates and trains organizations on strategies to impact employee engagement and company culture to be better motivated and optimized in the workplace!
Melissa sits on the Board of Directors for the London Chamber of Commerce, as well as Part-Time Faculty at Fanshawe College in the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business.
Heather Pais has been a strong ONERUN supporter since its inception in 2010. Heather is a loving wife, mother of two and tremendously passionate about serving her community. A long-time educator she began her career with the Kenora Catholic District School Board, now with the London Catholic school board, Heather is currently serving as Principal at St Anthony’s French Immersion school. Heather commits herself to many programs that support those in need. Her leadership skills matched with her deep compassion for others is a blessing to the ONERUN team.
Paulette Soscia works as a Business Development Manager at JPW Systems Inc. where she creates new business opportunities for JPW through strategic planning, marketing and sales strategies. Prior to joining JPW, Paulette worked as a Commercial Account Executive with Cowan Insurance Group and as a Project Manager for Pillar Nonprofit Network's Innovation Works site in downtown London.
Paulette received a Bachelor of Arts, Administrative and Commerical Studies degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor's degree, Mini MBA from the University of Windsor.
Scott Slaven works as the Director of Finance and Administration at the Hunt Group where he is responsible for the management of all financial and administrative aspects of a multi-disciplined organization involved in the manufacture and distribution of window/door products and the development of residential and commercial real estate in Canada and the United States. Prior to joining the Hunt Group, Scott worked as a Tax Manager within KPMG.
Scott has a CPA accreditation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Bachelors degree from the University of Waterloo.
Freedom Maloney is a student at HB Beal Secondary school and is representing the voice of the students on the advisory board. He is actively involved in the sports community within the school and within the city. As a member of Beal Basketball and Volleyball, and an employee with GoodLife Fitness he is passionate about helping youth be active both physically and in the community. Freedom is a member of the Student Athletic Association and also played a key role in Beal's first ONERUN Day last year.
